Paul has served on the Icicle Fund Board and Executive Committee since 2013, and is currently the Treasurer and Chair of the Finance Committee.  He has served in leadership positions on several nonprofit boards, including the Seattle Aquarium, Washington Wildlife & Recreation Coalition, the Bainbridge Island Land Trust, and the Bloedel Reserve.

 Paul holds a Master’s Degree in Nonprofit Leadership from Seattle University (2018), a law degree from the University of Michigan (1983), and a BA Degree from the University of Michigan (1980).

 Paul worked as a lawyer in Seattle for almost 30 years at the firm of Riddell Williams Bullitt & Walkinshaw.  He had a broad litigation practice with an emphasis on commercial, product liability, and real estate litigation.  He later worked at a national land conservation and park creation organization, The Trust for Public Land, as its Northwest Director.  He retired in 2018.

 Anne and Paul married in 1981 and they have two adult children, Matthew and Molly.

 Paul loves the outdoors.  He hikes, skies, bike rides, kayaks, sails and scuba dives.
