Icicle Fund hired a program officer

April 3rd, 2023

We are very excited to announce that Michelle Tiegel has joined the Icicle Fund as our new Program Officer. Michelle is thrilled to join Christine and Tiffany in making a positive difference in the quality and health of all life in North Central Washington. For the last 25 years, she has been fortunate to have careers that helped people explore, protect, and make connections with the natural world around them. Her time working in the non-profit sector grew her passion for work that has a positive impact on people and place. She’s excited to apply her love of music, the arts, culture of place, and the environment while deepening the valuable connections with the people and organizations Icicle Fund serves.

Michelle will be managing our Community Grants Program which supports non-profit organizations in creating a region where nature, the arts, and the area’s natural and human history inspire an appreciation, understanding, and stewardship of Chelan, Douglas, Grant and Okanogan counties. She looks forward to reaching out to organizations in these four counties to learn about the important issues they are addressing and collectively figuring out how Icicle Fund can best partner in the great work they do.

Icicle Fund is focused on delivering high impact, trust-based support to organizations. This includes options of unrestricted or project funding, multi-year funding, streamlined application and reporting processes, offers of guidance before and during the application process, and building lasting partnerships with organizations. Our goal is to help support organizations in doing their most important work whether that provides operating support, builds the capacity of the organization, improves technology for the organization or helps to fund an exciting new program.

If you would like more information about the Community Grants Program, please reach out to Michelle at michelle@iciclefund.org or (509) 548-0429.  With a common goal of improving the quality of life in our communities, just think of the impact we can have together!
